Allah, the Almighty, said: “Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of night and day are signs for those of understanding” [Al-Imran: 190].

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A person is on the religion of his close friend, so let one of you look at whom he befriends" [Reported by Abu Dawood].
Good companionship is an everlasting treasure and a beneficial remedy for every ailment. A good friend is like a mirror that reflects our image; if the image is beautiful, it encourages us to maintain it, and if the image is ugly, it pushes us to change. A good friend is like a fire that ignites hearts with faith and love for God, and like rain that quenches the hearts' thirst for knowledge and guidance. One of the reasons for the strength and endurance of faith is choosing a good companion who will assist us in this world and the Hereafter.
The Seventh Step: Spreading Goodness and Serving Others
Righteous deeds are not just a means of earning reward, but also a path to deepening faith. When we help others and spread goodness, we feel the pleasure of God and see the impact of faith in our lives and the lives of those around us. Doing good to people is a manifestation of practical faith.

The true Muslim is the one who is keen to help the needy, bring joy to the poor, and provide assistance to everyone who needs it. Among the noblest forms of goodness is to smile in the face of our brother, to speak to him with kind words, and to help the needy with money or effort. Islam calls us to be the best nation brought forth for humanity, and to work to spread peace and love among people.
